Disneyland Incredicoaster Loop Removed During Ride Refurbishment

You may have noticed during a recent visit to Disney California Adventure that the ever-present screaming of visitors whizzing by on the Incredicoaster has been absent for the last few days.

This is one of our all-time favorite thrill rides at the park, and it's looking a little strange right now—the Incredicoaster, the most intense roller coaster at the parks, is temporarily missing its signature loop!

We captured some pictures of this unusual sight as Disney continues work on the attraction. You can see these below as well as details on when you can expect the ride to reopen!

Incredicoaster Temporarily Missing Loop

When we were at Disney California Adventure recently, the famous view of Pixar Pier was obstructed by some construction as work is taking place on the Incredicoaster attraction. Those with a keen eye or fans of the ride walking by might have noticed that something key was missing here!

The Incredicoaster has been closed to guests for refurbishment since April 8, and it is scheduled to reopen soon on April 19, 2024. We are surprised to see that the Incredicoaster is closed again so soon after a recent refurbishment late last year, so they must be doing some more detailed maintenance on it to make sure it is running properly.
