Walt Disney World Annual Pass Blockout Dates 2024/2025

There are different Disney World block out dates for the varying Disney World Annual Passes. The highest level pass has the least amount of Disney World blackout dates and the lowest level pass has the most Disney World block out dates.

Many visitors are considering which pass they should buy since there are so many options. Current Passholders are trying to figure out what pass they may should upgrade to this year. We are going to take a deeper look into the different passes and what blockout dates each pass included.

There are four pass types for Walt Disney World. Two of the pass types, Disney Pixie Dust Pass and Disney Pirate Pass, are only available for Florida residents. One pass, the Disney Sorcerer Pass, is available for eligible Disney Vacation Club Members or Florida Residents. The last pass, the Disney Incredi-Pass, is available for all guests.

Disney Pixie Dust Pass

The Disney Pixie Dust pass is the cheapest Annual Pass for Disney World at just $430 plus tax, but is only available for Florida Residents. Residents can also choose to pay $22 per month with 12 monthly payments and 0% APR after $205 down payment on the Florida Resident Monthly Payment Program.

This pass includes:

  • Admission to one or more Walt Disney World Resort theme parks on most weekdays during the year with an advance park reservation (reservations are limited and subject to availability)**
  • Blockout dates apply, including during peak and holiday periods
  • Make and hold up to 3 theme park reservations at a time on a rolling basis.
  • Passholders staying at Disney Resort hotels or other select hotels are eligible to make theme park reservations for each day of their Resort stay(s), in addition to holding 3 theme park reservations at a time
  • Standard theme park parking
  • Up to a 20% discount on dining, merchandise, and more

Disney Pirate Pass

The Disney Pirate Pass is the second option that is only available for Florida residents. Residents can pay $799 plus tax for the pass. Residents also have the option to pay $54 per month with 12 monthly payments and 0% APR after $205 down payment with the Florida Resident Monthly Payment Program.

This pass includes benefits such as:

  • Admission to one or more Walt Disney World Resort theme parks on most weekdays during the year with an advance park reservation (reservations are limited and subject to availability)
  • Blockout dates apply, including during peak and holiday periods
  • Make and hold up to 3 theme park reservations at a time on a rolling basis.
  • Passholders staying at Disney Resort hotels or other select hotels are eligible to make theme park reservations for each day of their Resort stay(s), in addition to holding 3 theme park reservations at a time
  • Standard theme park parking
  • Up to a 20% discount on dining, merchandise, and more

Disney Sorcerer Pass

The Disney Sorcerer Pass is the pass available to eligible Disney Vacation Club Members and Florida Residents. Non-Florida residents must pay the $999 plus tax that the pass costs. Florida residents are able to purchase the pass at $72 per month with 12 monthly payments and 0% APR after $205 down payment with the Florida Resident Monthly Payment Program.

An eligible Disney Vacation Club Member is defined as a member that is eligible for Membership extras. These extras are only available to guests who have purchased their points directly from Disney and have met the minimum requirements of 150 usable points. Incredi-Pass

The Incredi-Pass is the only pass available to all guests of Walt Disney World. The pass costs 1449 plus tax. If you are a Florida resident, you still have the ability to participate in the Florida Resident Monthly Payment Program. Florida Residents will pay just $112 per month with 12 monthly payments and 0% APR after $205 down payment.

The biggest benefit of the Incredi-Pass is there are no blockout dates for the year. Incredi-Pass holders are able to visit Walt Disney World anytime including holidays and weekends. The only limitations are that advance reservations must be made and Pass holes can only make 5 theme park reservations at a time (on a rolling basis) unless they are staying at a Disney Resort Hotel. Passholders staying at Disney Resort hotels or other select hotels are eligible to make theme park reservations for each day of their Resort stay(s), in addition to holding 5 theme park reservations at a time.

The other benefits such as standard theme park parking and Up to a 20% discount on dining, merchandise, and more are still part of this annual pass.

No matter which pass you pick, it is important to note that theme park reservations must be made in addition to the valid pass. Park reservations are limited and are subject to availability and applicable pass blockout dates.

An Annual Pass does not guarantee admission or entry into any park, experience, attraction or offering. Also, park experiences and offerings may be modified and are subject to limited availability or even closure.

How much is a yearly pass to Disney?

There are 4 different annual passes to Disney. The cheapest pass is the Pixie Dust $430, the next pass, Pirate Pass is $799, the third pass, Sorcerer Pass, is $999 and the Incredi-pass is 1449.

How many times do you need to visit Disney World to make an annual pass worth it?

For most guests that are visiting from within Florida, for the cheapest option, you would only need to visit the parks for an average of 5 days a year to make the pass worth it. For the most expensive option, you would need to visit the parks at least 9 days to make the pass worth it.

Can a family member use my annual pass?

No, a family member cannot use your annual pass as it is assigned to you on your My Disney Experience Account. You can link other people's annual passes in your Friends and Family list.

Does Disney check IDs with annual passes?

Each time you enter the theme parks with the Annual Pass, you'll have to put your index finger in a scanner. If the scan fails, you'll be asked to show ID.
