Mission to Mars is the third version of the original Disneyland attraction, originally called Rocket to the Moon. Renamed Flight to the Moon in 1967, it was reimagined in 1975 as Mission to Mars. The Country Bear Jamboree originated from Disney's Mineral King Ski Resort, featuring a show featuring bears singing and playing instruments. The attraction was later introduced to Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World, Disneyland, and Tokyo Disneyland.
Disney's Pirates of the Caribbean films, based on theme park attractions, are the most famous. The original film, The Curse of the Black Pearl, premiered in 2003, but its inspiration has been around since 1967. The dark ride at Disneyland has been recreated for Walt Disney World, Tokyo Disneyland, Disneyland Paris, and Shanghai Disneyland, with the attraction being the most significantly connected to the movie storyline.
The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror, a Disney theme park attraction, was inspired by a television show. Disney Imagineers designed the ride as a haunted hotel, incorporating the Fifth Dimension from The Twilight Zone, creating a spooky drop tower-style ride.
