The Plaza Inn dining package offers reserved seating for the current parade being offered at Disneyland. This grab and go meal option includes a full meal plus a voucher for the reserved parade viewing location on Main Street, U.S.A. This dining package is typically offered for the current parade taking place at Disneyland throughout the year with slight variations in the food options but the viewing locations remains the same.

Plaza Inn Dining Package Review: Main Street Electrical Parade
A tasty way to get stress-free reserved seating for the 2022 Main Street Electrical Parade is with a Plaza Inn Dining Package at Disneyland! In celebration of the Main Street Electrical Parade’s 50th Anniversary, the Plaza Inn on Main Street is offering a daily lunch dining package.
The cost of the Plaza Inn Dining Package is $40 per adult and $25 per child (ages 3-9) plus tax. The Disneyland Magic Key Holder discount does apply.
Dining time is from 1:00 pm to 3:30 pm. You will receive a voucher and a lanyard for the first day’s performance of the Main Street Electrical Parade. Make sure to keep both of these items as they are required to enter the reserved viewing area. It’s also a good idea to save your receipt just in case these items are lost.
The reserved viewing area is located across from the Disneyland Train Station. The curb is for seated guests, and guests who are not on the curb stand for the parade.
You can book this Dining Package online via Disneyland.com or the app, up to 60 days in advance. This is a very popular reservation, and if you are unable to find availability for your Disneyland park day, don’t give up! Guests do cancel, often, which will open up some spots, so keep checking the app frequently.
A same-day reservation is also possible. Once you get inside Disneyland, head straight to the Plaza Inn and speak with a Cast Member to see if they have any reservations available. You might just get lucky!

- World-famous Plaza Inn fried-chicken leg

Disneyland Plaza Inn Dining Package Food Review
My son and I had such a wonderful experience with this Dining Package on Main Street Electrical Parade’s opening day. This is such a popular and iconic parade, I knew finding a nice parade viewing spot would be a challenge.
Our dining time was at 1:30 pm and we checked in about 10 minutes prior. The Plaza Inn does serve a tasty buffet-style lunch, but for the Dining Package, you skip the buffet line, pay, and then wait in a short line for your meal. Plaza Inn is a fan favorite for guests over the years, and when you taste the restaurant’s famous fried chicken, you’ll understand why!
You can either sit inside the beautiful Plaza Inn and enjoy the lavish Victorian setting or find a seat outside under the legendary pink umbrellas. I love sitting outside to the left, where you can sometimes have a view of Sleeping Beauty Castle and the Astro Orbiter attraction.
I dare say this might just be my new favorite meal in Disneyland! The smoky mac and cheese was decadent, the fried chicken tasty as usual, and who can pass up Mickey-shaped cornbread? My typically picky eater son loved his lunch, especially the cheesecake dessert. Because we had reserved seating, I felt no reason to rush through our lunch to snag a parade seat and enjoyed a leisurely meal while watching the Disneyland world pass by.
Plaza Inn Dining Package Review Reserved Seating
The Dining Package voucher stated to meet by the flag pole in Town Center on Main Street from 8:00 pm to 8:30 pm. This evening the Main Street Electrical Parade started at 8:30 pm. To guarantee a great seat, we arrived at 6:45 pm and were let into the reserved viewing area at 7:00 pm. Was so happy to score a perfect curbed area to sit, directly center from the Disneyland Train Station.
You can leave this area to use the restroom or pick-up snacks, but you must have your voucher and lanyard with you to re-renter the location.
Waiting a short while for the parade to begin was fun. Mickey, Minnie, Pluto, Goofy, and Donald were getting the crowd excited, and Cast Members were having fun while selling Main Street Electrical Parade balloons and snacks.
The 20-minute parade began and our viewing area couldn’t be more perfect with the view of the lit up Disneyland Train Station in the background!
Since this was on a Friday evening, Disneyland Forever fireworks started soon after the parade ended. The reserved seating is also a nice spot to view this show, a perfect area to catch two nighttime spectaculars back to back! Hi there! Question regarding the lunch, could you “conceivable” check in, get lanyards for parade later, but take food to go instead of dining there? We have nap time during our reservation so I’d rather send my husband to get food and lanyards. Could he get lanyards for all three paid reservations even if all three people aren’t there? Thank you!!
