Magic Kingdom Quick Service Restaurants Ranked

Unlike EPCOT, Magic Kingdom isn’t exactly known for the best food selection, but we have some hidden Quick Service gems you just can’t miss! From breakfast to snacks and lunch and dinner options, there is an option for every person in your party. In our guide we rank all the Magic Kingdom quick service options so you know which are the best for your trip.

Keep reading for our full ranking of the Magic Kingdom quick service options including all the famous treats.

What is Quick Service?

A Quick Service Restaurant is Disney’s term for a counter service restaurant. At all of these locations you order your food at a counter, pick your food up at that counter or a second counter, and then find a table to eat at. You throw away your trash and take your own tray when you are done eating. Cast Members do come around and periodically clean the tables in between guests.

All restaurants that fall in this category are going to have items that are under $14.99, so these can be very cost friendly when in attendance at Walt Disney World. There are some restaurants that will have more specialty food items over this $14.99 limit, but there is at least one option that falls below.

If you are visiting after January 2024 and pick the quick service dining plan, these locations should all be included in your pre-paid meal price for Magic Kingdom quick service. More information will be released later this year about the guidelines, but Disney is great about labeling what is included and not included on all menus.

Most of the time you are not going to find a variety in the type of foods that are offered – Chicken Nuggets, Burgers and Hot Dogs are the main staples here. Magic Kingdom food caters to the families and kids that are visiting the park. That does not mean there are not some secret gems sprinkled throughout the Magic Kingdom park to appeal to the food lover as well.

Disney World Allergies and Dietary Restrictions

One question you may have is can I eat at these quick-service restaurants if I have dietary restrictions or allergies? You absolutely can! Disney does a great job at accommodating guests who have any type of food restrictions.

On the My Disney Experience App and on the Walt Disney World website, guests can look at menus where many of the common food allergies have their own menu items listed. The most common food allergy menus listed are

  • Gluten/Wheat
  • Egg
  • Milk
  • Peanut/Tree Nut
  • Soy
  • Sesame

These items are also very clearly marked on the menus at the walk-up counters. If you have any questions about the foods that you or someone in your family are able to eat, ask the cast member there to help with what is available. They can always guide you in the right direction to accommodate your allergies or sensitivities.

Top 5 Snack RestaurantsMagic Kingdom quick service

While most guests who visit the Magic Kingdom can find a quick treat at one of the many snack carts filled with popcorn and pretzels, there are quite a few stand-out places guests need to visit. These quick bites for either breakfast or a snack will be sure to hit the spot for Magic Kingdom quick service spots.

Out of the 13 different snack locations (not carts), these are our top five places to eat at!

#5 Plaza Ice Cream Parlor

On Main Street, USA, is the Plaza Ice Cream Parlor. This counterpart to an amazing sit-down restaurant located in Magic Kingdom has all of the ice cream you could want. The Plaza Restaurant used to have unlimited milkshakes and I could not stop ordering them! Fortunately, you don’t have to have a reservation to eat the amazing ice cream served. Visit between 11 AM and 10:30 PM to order tons of different ice cream options.

At the Plaza Ice Cream Parlor, we suggest picking one of the three different sundaes that are on the menu. Guests can choose from the

  • All-American Sundae: Old-fashioned Vanilla and Chocolate Ice Cream with Hot Fudge, Peanut Butter Drizzle, Whipped Cream and a Cherry
  • Brownie Sundae: Warm Brownie served with Hot Fudge, Whipped Cream, Cherry and your choice of Two Hand-scoops of Ice Cream
  • The Plaza Ice Cream Sundae Hot Fudge: Whipped Cream and a Cherry served in a Freshly Made Waffle Bowl with your choice of Two Hand-scoops of Ice Cream. These sundaes are huge and absolutely shareable with your party.

In addition, the ice cream flavors you can order are Vanilla, Chocolate, Strawberry, Mint Chocolate-Chip, or Cookies ‘n Cream. They also have No Sugar Added Raspberry Sorbet and Plant-based Frozen Desserts available. There is something for everyone in your family to enjoy on a hot Magic Kingdom day.

Our recommendation is to grab a scoop of ice cream or a sundae right before 3 PM and watch the Festival of Fantasy Parade on Main Street, U.S.A.

#4 Sleepy Hollow

Sleepy Hollow is located in Liberty Square and features amazing breakfast and snack items. This Magic Kingdom quick service location is open from 9:00 AM to 10:00 PM. Once you order your food, take a seat at any of the outdoor tables and you will have a great view of the backside of the castle.

For food options, there are quite a few sweet and savory options to pick from. With any choice, you can’t go wrong.

The fresh fruit waffle sandwich provides sweet and fresh in one bite. A waffle served with Strawberries, Banana, Blueberries, and Chocolate-Hazelnut Spread is a great breakfast or snack.

Another great snack item located at Sleepy Hollow is the Mickey-shaped Waffle with Strawberries and Powdered Sugar, served with Strawberries and Whipped Cream.

You can order either of these waffles as a funnel cake as well. Pair the waffle or funnel cake with Joffrey’s Coffee, tea, hot chocolate, juice, milk, or water, and you have a complete breakfast.

For a savory option choose the hand-dipped corn dog or the Sweet-and-Spicy Chicken-Waffle Sandwich. The Sandwich provides just the right amount of sweet and spicy with the Broccoli Slaw and a Honey-Sriracha Glaze on the chicken. It is also served with House-made Chips or you can just order the house-made chips.

No matter if you want a mid-morning breakfast treat or an afternoon protein-packed snack, Sleepy Hollow is a great place to grab a bite.

#3 Gaston’s TavernMagic Kingdom quick service

Gaston’s Tavern is a Magic Kingdom quick service location in Fantasyland. One of the best bites, specifically around breakfast time is located in Gaston’s Tavern. Open from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM, you can get your treat for most of the day.

The Warm Cinnamon roll is a specialty the size of your head! It is the perfect roll topped with icing and a special butterscotch sauce. Paired with LeFou’s Brew, a no-sugar added frozen apple juice with a hint of toasted marshmallow, topped with all-natural passion fruit-mango foam, this spot makes the perfect morning treat.

Coffee is also available here with flavored syrups for all coffee lovers that would rather have your normal wake-me up beverage.

Once you order, choose to eat inside the restaurant and pretend to be waiting on Gaston to barge in or head outside and you can see Gaston at his fountain. When you are done eating, head over to the shop next door to get all of your Beauty and the Beast Souvenirs.

#2 Westward Ho

A surprising Magic Kingdom quick service option that has variety throughout the day is Westward Ho located in Frontierland. There are special treats for the morning and different treats during lunch and dinner since it is open from 9:30 AM to 9:00 PM.

In the morning, you can grab a Breakfast Sandwich of Bacon, Egg, and Cheddar served on a Multigrain Croissant. You could also choose the sweet route and order Powdered Cinnamon-Sugar Donut Holes. Westward Ho serves Joffrey’s Coffee with special syrups, slushies, hot tea, and water as well.

The real special treats can be found during lunch and dinner hours. One thing to make sure you grab is the delectable Candied Bacon Skewer. If you are looking for something more on the spicy side, check out the Jalapeño Poppers served with Ranch. If you want to try one of the treats but have kids with you, make sure to check out the Corn Dog Nuggets.

There is a ton of variety here and some special finds that you aren’t going to see at many quick service restaurants in Magic Kingdom, making this a little slice of food you can’t miss.

#1 Sunshine Tree Terrace Magic Kingdom quick service

Our favorite place to grab a special treat is at the Sunshine Tree Terrace located in Adventureland. This is THE location to get all of the specialty Dole Whips, you could possibly imagine. And if you have never eaten a Dole Whip, it is on everyone’s Disney Bucket List. Dole Whip is a soft serve dairy-free frozen dessert typically pineapple flavored, but Sunshine Tree Terrace, unlike Aloha Isle, serves specialty types. Open from 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM, you can start or end your day with this special treat.

The Orange Bird sipper is the current seasonal offering, but this changes with the seasons, new movie releases, specialty events, and the like.

Our favorite regular menu item to try is the “I Lava You Float” – Fanta Strawberry Soda and Passion Fruit flavor served with DOLE Whip® Orange and topped with Popping Candy. This float gets its name from the Disney Short by the same name.

There is also strawberry and orange dole whip, root beer floats, and a specialty Joffrey’s Shakin’ Jamaican™ Cold Brew.

If you want a snack to eat that isn’t as sweet, check out the fried pot stickers.

No matter what menu item you choose, Sunshine Tree Terrace is a great way to order more than the original Dole Whip flavor and will keep you coming back for more for Magic Kingdom quick service options.

Magic Kingdom Quick Service Lunch & Dinner Restaurants RankedCaseys Corner

Out of the 11 total Magic Kingdom quick service restaurants that feature lunch and dinner menus (and some breakfast) this is the order we have them ranked based on type of food, unique flavors or picks, adult and kid-friendly selections, and theming/ location in the park.

#11 Tomorrowland Terrace

Tomorrowland Terrace falls at number 11 on our Magic Kingdom quick service list because in 2023, they are not open for quick service except seasonally and during special ticketed events. Located in Tomorrowland, this is an easy location to visit when you are around Main Street or just finished laughing at the Monster’s Inc., Laugh Floor.

When the quick service restaurant is open, they have surprisingly good eats. There are options for all interests like a chicken and shrimp platter, fish and shrimp platter, a lobster roll, chicken nuggets, various sides, and desserts. The pricing for these options is going to range from $12.49- $15.99. Kid food options are similar and range from $6.49-$7.69.

This location has covered tables outside with a great view of the castle. We recommend that if you can catch this quick service restaurant open, grab a late dinner, sit at one of the tables, and watch the Happily Ever After Fireworks to end your night!

#10 Aunt Polly’s Dockside Inn

Aunt Polly’s Dockside Inn is another seasonal restaurant that is only open on incredibly busy days such as Christmas Day and New Years. This is one Magic Kingdom quick service place that if you can catch it open, Disney food reviewers rave about.

The menu features unique food finds like the Becky’s Buttery Biscuit BBQ Sliders with house-made cajun chips, the Peanut Butter and Raspberry Sandwich served on brioche bread with the cajun chips, and a Peanut Butter – Chocolate Hazelnut Spread and Banana Sandwich on brioche with the cajun chips. You can also order the Soft Pretzel Sticks with a choice of beer cheese, nacho cheese, or creole mustard dipping sauce.

Aunt Polly’s offers desserts as well. Guests can choose from the Mississippi Mud Brownie or a Root Beer Float. Or choose a specialty beverage as your dessert. Offerings include Sweet Tea and Lemonade Slushies. There are also bottled Coke products available as well.

The interesting thing about Aunt Polly’s location is that to get to the quick service restaurant you have to take the raft to Tom Sawyer’s Island to be able to order. Once you have ordered, take a seat in the open air, covered gazebo to enjoy your meal. However, when this location is not open to eating at, it is still a great place to go sit and take a break.

Magic Kingdom quick service

#9 Golden Oak Outpost

The Golden Oak Outpost is a very limited menu restaurant located in Frontierland. This has both its pros and cons. Unfortunately, there are not many items to choose from but this location typically has shorter wait times to get food items than other Magic Kingdom quick service spots.

There are three main entrees to choose from

  • Chili Cheese Fries – French Fries topped with Chili and Cheese for $6.49
  • Chicken Strips Served with French Fries for $10.49
  • Loaded Chicken Strips Topped with Cheese Sauce, Bacon, and Green Onions for $11.29

In addition, choose from assorted fountain beverages, water and specialty slushies. Where else on property can you buy a Sweet Tea Slushy or a Minute Maid® Premium Lemonade and Sweet Tea Slushy.

And of course, if you want something sweet, the Warm Fresh-baked Chocolate-Chunk Cookie is an excellent choice.

Overall, the Golden Oak Outpost is a solid place to grab a quick meal in between running from Pirates of the Caribbean to Big Thunder Mountain. There is a very small seating section directly beside the restaurant but there are not many tables and not a lot of room for big parties of people to sit, so keep this in mind if you decide to lunch here.

Watch the hours because they are typically only open from lunch time to late afternoon. We have seen this location open later during Special Ticket Events, but your best bet is to try to eat here for lunch.

This is a location that has some special treats to grab quickly if you just need something and there are long wait times at other places, but it is not one of the restaurants to go completely out of your way for.

#6 The Lunching PadMagic Kingdom quick service

Despite the name, the Lunching Pad serves delectable treats during breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Located in Tomorrowland, this is a great Magic Kingdom quick service spot to grab something to eat right at park opening or in between rides at Space Mountain and Buzz Lightyear Space Ranger Spin until park close.

During breakfast hours, guests are going to find options such as the Breakfast Bowl (Potato Barrels topped with a Cheese Omelet, Chili con Carne Queso, and Sour Cream) for $10.79 and  Sticky Bubble Bread (Salted Pretzel filled with Caramel and topped with Red and Green Fondant served with Chocolate Sauce) for $5.49.

Guests can also purchase a sweet Cream Cheese Warm Stuffed Pretzel or a Warm Mickey Pretzel served with Cheese Sauce.

To make sure you have energy in the morning, don’t forget to grab your Joffrey’s coffee or one of the only places to buy a Monster Energy Drink in the park.

During the lunch and dinner hours, specialty hot dogs are on the menu! The Queso Fundido Hot Dog, an All-Beef Hot Dog topped with Queso Fundido, Street Corn Relish, and Spiced Tortilla Strips served with a choice of Side is our pick.

Tables are located around the spot. The seats for the tables are padded stools with no backs, so they are comfortable, but kids can easily fall off.

We like the location of this restaurant, but there isn’t a lot of theming and all of the seating is outdoors. There are some good food options for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, but nothing that is going to be the best meal you eat at Disney.

#7 Tortuga’s Tavern

Tortuga’s Tavern is a Lunch and Dinner Magic Kingdom quick service restaurant located in Adventureland themed after pirates. They have a limited but diverse menu. There are absolutely some specialty items that are good picks for a quick meal.

Disney actually does Barbecue very well, so the Barbecued Pork Sandwich Served with House-made Chips and the Barbecue Slaw Dog served with House-made Chips are both great options to choose from.

In a completely different cuisine option, the Orange Chicken Strips, tossed in a Sweet Orange-Soy Glaze and topped with Green Onions can be great if you are craving something sweet and tangy.

And in a third cuisine choice, the Peanut Butter, Chocolate-Hazelnut Spread, and Banana Sandwich Served with House-made Chips is a delectable treat that can also count as a full meal.

A last special treat on the menu is the Desert Pear Lemonade Pirate Slushy with Minute Maid® Premium Lemonade.

If none of those special items catches your attention, Tortuga’s Tavern also serves an all beef hot dog with house made chips. They also have water and assorted beverages.

While you are eating make sure to take a look at all of the pirate memorabilia and enjoy the air conditioning and fans in the semi -indoor seating. They also have bathrooms located inside the dining room as well, so it is a great stop to make for your family to take a break. And there is an adorable courtyard over by the ordering windows where your kids can wait with a seat in while waiting for food until you find a table.

This is again going to be a place you want to visit for lunch as they close early before the dinner time rush. During the peak of summer, the hours are only 11 AM to 5 PM.

This is a great spot for the family that has excellent theming for those pirate loving kids and adults. There is ample seating in a cooler area and the food options are diverse enough that everyone can find something on the menu to taste.

Magic Kingdom quick service

#6 Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Cafe

Cosmic Ray’s located in Tomorrowland is a great mix of awesome food and an awesome atmosphere for a Magic Kingdom quick service spot.

The lunch and dinner menu features burgers, chicken sandwiches, and three different Crispy Noodle Salad options. All options are customizable based upon allergies, making this a great place to eat for everyone in the family.

Children can choose from a grilled chicken sandwich, chicken strips, or macaroni and cheese.

Like many of the restaurants on this list, you can’t leave without getting the featured dessert. The Stitch Blueberry-Lemonade Mousse Cake is a Blueberry Mousse, Lemon Curd, Vanilla Cake, and Mango Glaze and perfect for all of those Lilo and Stitch movie lovers out there!

So what makes the atmosphere of this quick service restaurant so great? One area of the seating is Sonny Eclipse, the audio animatronic piano player that helps provide entertainment while you eat.

The food is your typical theme park food selection, but it has plenty of indoor seating, a good amount of food options, and some entertainment as well. Cosmic Ray’s fits as a family friendly quick service that you can absolutely find a good meal at.

#5 The Friar’s Nook

The Friar’s Nook is Magic Kingdom quick service restaurant that serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner. There are a lot of options on the menu that can appeal to anyone in your family. Located in Fantasyland, this restaurant is a prime location to stop in for a bite to eat.

For breakfast, the breakfast sandwich is a great protein filled option. The breakfast sandwich is bacon, egg, and cheddar served on a Multigrain Croissant with a side of tots for only $8.99. Other options that may appeal to your family include the Sausage and Gravy Tots and the Cinnamon-Sugar Doughnuts for both under $6.00.

There are some great lunch and dinner options if you are wanting something a little comfortable or something a little adventurous. The Bacon Macaroni & Cheese Hot Dog is Served with Tots or you can choose just the Creamy Bacon Macaroni & Cheese Tots without tots. A specialty item on the menu is the  Curry Brat Tots, Tots topped with Chopped Bratwurst, Curry Ketchup, and Apple Slaw.

If guests want to order something a little more bland, the Creamy Bacon Macaroni & Cheese, the Bratwurst Served with Tots, or an All-Beef Hot Dog Served with Tots are good options.

The kids’ menu has many of the same options: tots and cheese sauce, macaroni and cheese, and a PB & J Uncrustable.

The star of the show is a Caramel Apple-Pecan Hand Pie Drizzled with Vanilla Custard Sauce!

The downside to this restaurant is the limited amount of seating that is available. There are places to sit that are not at tables in the area, or if it is not too busy Pinocchio Village Haus is right across the way and has outdoor seating with umbrellas to provide shade.

We love the location in Fantasyland and the slightly different take on theme park classics that the entire family can still enjoy.

View of Small World while Dining

#4 Pinocchio Village Haus

Pinocchio Village Haus is a great Magic Kingdom quick service restaurant in Fantasyland. The best part of this restaurant is if you are lucky, you can find the table next to the window that overlooks “it’s a small world” and watch as riders go through the entrance to the ride.

As far as menu options go, guests are going to find flatbreads, chicken strips, and salads. I have personally eaten the pepperoni pizza flatbread and it was delicious. Friends of mine have eaten the Margherita flatbread (Flatbread topped with Tomato Sauce, Shredded Mozzarella, Fresh Tomatoes, Mozzarella Pearls, and a drizzle of Balsamic Glaze) and loved that too. You can’t go wrong with any of the flatbread options here.

For sides, guests can order Breadsticks – Garlic Breadsticks served with the House Marinara Sauce, French Fries, Tomato Basil Soup, or a Side Caesar Salad. The soup may be a great option to order when it is an unusually chilly day in Florida.

Just like with all other quick service restaurants, even the flatbreads can be allergy friendly. If someone in your family doesn’t do dairy, the Village House even carries a Plant-based “Cheese” Pizza along with other dairy free options.

Drink options vary from assorted fountain beverages, a blue raspberry slushie, specialty iced coffee, and tea. A featured dessert option is the Key Lime Pie Tart.

Pinnochio’s is great because there is plenty of seating inside. There are a lot of mini-dining rooms and there are even places to sit upstairs. If you would rather sit outside, there are also tables with umbrellas to choose from.

We believe that Pinocchio Village Haus is a great option for some good pizza or a Caesar salad in Magic Kingdom. The theming is great because of the amount of detail paid to each area. You can even see Pinocchio himself. They are one of the restaurants open from 10 AM to 9 PM, so you can grab a late bite to eat if you have had a busy park day. Overall, this place meets our requirements for a great quick service location!

#3 Casey’s Corner

Take Me Out To The Ballgame… and if you can’t, I will settle for an amazing hot dog at Casey’s Corner! This Baseball themed restaurant is located right at the end of Main Street, USA.

If you love hot dogs, then you have to try Casey’s Corner! They have footlong hot dog specials that you can try to eat with your hands, but we recommend using a knife and a fork, we know, we sound crazy. We won’t sound crazy once you try it though! Try the Chipotle Barbecue topped with pulled pork, slaw, and chipotle barbecue sauce or the Chicago-Style hot dog with traditional green relish, diced tomatoes, onions, and yellow mustard.

The footlong hot dog isn’t the only specialty. You can order the Chili-cheese hot dog or the regular sized Chipotle Barbecue hot dog. No matter which dog you choose, you can’t go wrong.

Side options are fries or mandarin oranges. We absolutely recommend the fries because they are crispy, salty, and pair perfectly with the hot dogs. Speaking of fries, if you aren’t in the mood for a hot dog, at least order the Chipotle Barbecue Loaded Fries or the Chili-Cheese French Fries.

Members of your party that don’t eat meat can even enjoy a treat here with the plant-based options!

For dessert, there is a brownie (but we recommend checking out the Plaza Ice Cream Parlor across the street).

Casey’s has amazing theming inside and right outside of the restaurant. All of the cast members are dressed in their baseball uniforms and hats. Outside of the restaurant is the piano player. If you are the first in line in the morning, you may even get picked to do the first pitch of the day in a special ceremony.

The downside to this restaurant is the seating. There is very little seating inside the restaurant and because the outdoor seating is around the hub, it fills up with people who may not be eating at the restaurant at all. This is especially true around an hour before fireworks are set to begin.

Overall, this is an enjoyable place for the entire family to grab a bite to eat for lunch or dinner!

#2 Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn and Cafe

I would argue one of the best options for Magic Kingdom quick service is located in Frontierland. This Tex-Mex restaurant does a great job of providing excellent food where it lacks in theming. I may be partial because I LOVE this type of food, but it really is a great place to grab a bite to eat during lunch or dinner.

There are a variety of options from nachos, tacos, fajitas, and salads. All of them are excellent choices. My favorite is the Beef Nachos: Tortilla chips topped with queso, beef, lettuce, tomato, sour cream, and salsa. The beef has just enough flavor to be a little on the spicy side without being overwhelming and a great price of $11.49.

The Pork Carnitas Rice Bowl is another great favorite in our family. The bowl consists of yellow rice topped with seasoned pork, grilled peppers and onions, black beans, lettuce, tomato, sour cream, and salsa. For only $12.29, you get a lot of really great, filling food to help you refuel for your park day.

One of the best options for price and variety is the Taco Trio. For only $10.99, you get three flour tortillas served with choice of ground beef, seasoned chicken, or pork carnitas served with lettuce and tomato.

In addition, there are non-meat options or your everyday cheeseburger if the rest of your party wants the Tex-Mex but the menu doesn’t fully appeal to you. You can also order sides to go with any of your entrees. Sides include Tortilla Chips, Black Beans, Yellow Rice, Side of Guacamole, PB&J Uncrustable, or A Cuties® Mandarin.

The kid’s menu features a lot of options as well. Kids can choose from a cheeseburger, chicken taco, beef taco, chicken rice bowl, Pork Carnitas rice bowl, vegetable rice bowl, or macaroni and cheese. Each kid’s entree is served with two sides and a drink for $8.50 or less. We think the amount of food for the kid’s meals is great for the price at this restaurant making it a go to for our family.

Not only does Pecos Bill have an amazing menu of food, the dessert menu is just as good! Guests can choose from Mini Churros with Chocolate Sauce, Strawberry Limeade Slush, Teddi Barra Swingin’ Shortcake (A Peach and Raspberry Trifle with Crumbled Cake, Strawberry Pearls, and Flowers), Powdered Cinnamon-Sugar Doughnut Holes, or Nonfat Greek Yogurt.

Once you order your food, grab your tray and eat either inside or outside. There are plenty of rounds or square tables to choose from and stool type seats that are easily moveable for big parties. During the dinner rush, it can be slightly difficult to find a seat close to the order counter, but walk around a bit, and there are usually plenty of open tables.

A quick tip: We have chosen to eat a late dinner and watched the fireworks from the backside of Cinderella’s Castle at the outdoor tables and then ran to Big Thunder Mountain to grab a quick ride before the park closes.

Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn and Cafe is a great option for many families that don’t just want another cheeseburger and hot dog, but want something familiar in cuisine. We love the flavor and variety of foods here and think it is an excellent choice for any visit to Magic Kingdom.

Columbia Harbor House

#1 Columbia Harbour House

Seafood during a hot day is probably not your immediate go-to when at Magic Kingdom, but Columbia Harbour House is not to be missed.

The lobster roll is something you can write home about. Order this to get Chilled Lobster with a touch of Mayonnaise on a New England-style Bun and served with French Fries for only $16.99. When talking about theme park price food paired with lobster, this is a great price!

The Shrimp skewers are my go to order every single time I am there. The shrimp is served over a bed of rice and a side of green beans. It is not a ton of food, but each part is cooked perfectly and super flavorful. For only $14.29, this is a yummy, lighter option for those hot days in the park.

The best value order to get here is the Trio Platter. This comes with a combination of Fried Shrimp, Chicken Strips, and Battered Fish served with Hushpuppies and choice of Sides for only $14.29. That is so much food for that price, especially in a theme park. This entree is easily shareable between two people to save plenty of room for snacks around the park. It is not super greasy so it shouldn’t be too heavy on your stomach during a hot day.

Another favorite is the New England Shrimp Boil – Shrimp, Potatoes, Corn, and Andouille Sausage cooked in a Spiced Broth served with warm Parker House Rolls. This is another big meal for the price of $15.99. This is a great comfort food with the corn and potatoes, but also get the protein and flavor from the shrimp and sausage.

There are so many options on the menu and all of them are great! Other items to order include the Grilled Salmon, Fish Sandwich, Mixed Green Salad, Chicken Strips, and a Plant-Based Crab Cake. For sides, the options include New England Clam Chowder, French Fries, Green Beans, Hushpuppies, PB&J Uncrustable, and Rice.

We will admit the kid’s menu is not the best if your child doesn’t eat seafood, as the only non-seafood option is chicken strips, but that seems to be all our kids want to eat at Disney anyway. Seafood options on the kid’s menu include Shrimp Skewer, Grilled Salmon, and Fried Shrimp. Like all kids meals, they get a side and a drink.

The beverages that you find here are going to be your standard assorted fountain drinks, water, coffee, tea, milk, and juice. For dessert there is a special Haunted Mansion milkshake on the menu. The Happy Haunts Milk Shake is Blackberry Milk Shake, topped with a Purple Chocolate-glazed Doughnut covered with Black Sprinkles, a true treat.

When it comes to this Magic Kingdom quick service spot, it is in a great location in Liberty Square, kind of in the middle of the entire park, so easy to get to. The theming of the restaurant includes pictures and paintings from colonial America much like the rest of the theming in Liberty square. The brown tables and chairs are very similar in style to how you would feel eating at someone’s house, making this restaurant very inviting.

The restaurant is two stories, so it is also a great place to kind of hide from the noise and bustle of the theme park as most people don’t know about the second story seating area. You can watch people easily out of the windows. The nautical and ship theming throughout the restaurant make it feel a little more upscale for a quick service restaurant.

We have seen the restaurant close earlier than other quick service restaurants in the park, so our recommendation is to eat here for lunch or an early dinner.

It is one of our favorite locations to grab something other than burgers and fries in the Magic Kingdom. The food is fresh, well made and well seasoned, making it a great option for many guests. It can get busy during normal eating hours, but it has been a great go-to for our family regardless.

Best Magic Kingdom Quick Service

No matter what you are looking for in cuisine at Magic Kingdom, the quick-service restaurants have a little taste of everything. At most of the quick-service dining locations, you can mobile order your food so you don’t have to wait in line. Many of the locations offer places to sit and rest while you eat in either shade or the air-conditioning. You don’t have to do a sit-down dinner to have a great dining experience at the Magic Kingdom.

Try something new the next time you go other than the traditional burger or hot dog and let us know what your favorite treats are!
