Magic Key Important Information
No matter which Magic Key you pick, it is important to note that theme park reservations must be made in addition to the valid pass. Park reservations are limited and are subject to availability and applicable pass blockout dates.
A Magic Key does not guarantee admission or entry into any park, experience, attraction or offering. Also, park experiences and offerings may be modified and are subject to limited availability or even closure.
All passes exclude activities/events separately priced. Pass types, entitlements, and prices are subject to change without notice. Passes are nontransferable and nonrefundable.
Magic Key No-Show Policy
Unlike Walt Disney World’s Annual Passes, Magic Key Passes have a no-show policy.
Disney states, Magic Key holders who are a no-show for 3 reservations in any 90-day window will be unable to make new park reservations or modify existing park reservations for 30 days. Existing park reservations at that time will not be canceled. The 30-day period begins the day after the third no-show, and will continue even if the pass is upgraded to another pass type or renewed during that time.
To avoid having a no-show, only one park needs to be entered. Magic Key holders who cancel or modify a reservation by 11:59 PM Pacific Time on the day before the reserved date are also not considered a no-show.
Park-Hopping Benefit
With the Magic Key, guests can park hop between parks after 11:00 AM as long as a reservation was made for both parks. Key holders must enter the park with the reservation that was made first before hopping to the next park. If the Magic Key holder does not enter either park until after 11:00 AM, the holder can visit either park at that time.

The Magic Key allows guests to have a pass to enter Disneyland Parks. To enter a Disneyland Resort theme park, each Magic Key holder is required to have both a theme park reservation and Magic Key pass valid for admission to the same park on the same date they plan to visit
In the past, Disney has sold out of Magic Key passes. Disney states, “Please be aware that availability is very limited and passes could sell out quickly.” Currently, passes are available for purchase.
If you are a local that can visit during non-peak times at Disneyland, the Magic Key has many benefits. If you are a guest that lives far away from Disneyland and does not visit numerous times a year, it makes more sense to purchase standard tickets.
Magic Key passes are only good for the holder and other guests will need to purchase their own annual pass or standard theme park ticket to visit Disneyland.
Pass are valid for 1 year from the date of entry to a park or pay-on-entry lot with the pass for the first time for a new Pass purchase (not a renewal).
