So, grab your fork and hold on to that wine glass as we dive into our EPCOT Food & Wine Festival guide to learn more!
EPCOT Food & Wine Festival Overview
EPCOT's Food & Wine Festival is a yearly festival that takes place inside of the EPCOT park. A valid theme park ticket and reservation is required for entry. This year, the festival is taking place from July 14th through November 19th. The duration of the festival has grown over the years as a direct response to its enormous popularity.
We're going to share all the details of the festival in this EPCOT Food & Wine Festival guide, but in a nutshell, the festival is a celebration of all things food and wine with exclusive events and merchandise. EPCOT is already known for its amazing food and drink options, but during the festival, you get to try even more tasty meals and cool drinks from around the world that are only served during this event. Plus, the festival includes some really great concerts from fan-favorite artists such as 98º, Hoobastank, Boyz II Men and Kenny G. So, whether you're visiting for the food, the drinks, the music or the exclusive merchandise, this festival really has it all.
What to Expect
You should know that the EPCOT Food & Wine Festival takes place all throughout the park. While you can still visit the theme park without attending any of the festival's booths or events, you should know that the crowds during this time can be a bit higher than you'd expect.
If you're visiting during the summer months, we recommend bringing a water bottle to use throughout the day. The festival can be quite adventurous and between all of the walking and the heat, you're better off staying hydrated and cool.

EPCOT Food & Wine Festival Passport
When entering the park, be sure to grab a copy of this year's Passport. Think of this as your quasi park map that you'd normally grab when entering any theme park. The passport will be your on-site guide to everything the festival has to offer. You'll be able to see all of the marketplace booths and their menus, the concert performances, and the daily events. The passport even has a section where you can be guided from booth to booth depending on what your palate is calling for! This year you can now access the passport from your My Disney Experience App or by scanning the posted QR code from your phone.
EPCOT Food & Wine Festival Marketplace Booths
Alright, now let's get into the main course: the marketplace booths!
The festival is broken up into 29 distinct food and beverage locations that are referred to as booths in the Global Marketplace. Each one of these locations will offer unique bites and drinks that are not part of the park's usual lineup of menu options.
A few things to note about the booths:
- Food and beverage options are an additional charge and not included with your theme park ticket
- Alcohol is only served to guests 21 and older

EPCOT Food & Wine Festival: Exclusive Merchandise
Each year, the festival releases exclusive merchandise that can only be found during the Food & Wine Festival. The new merchandise is rolled out as part of a collection series. This year, the collections include:
- Food & Wine Festival Logo Collection
- Chef Mickey Mouse & Chef Minnie Mouse Collection
- Chef Remy Annual Passholder Food & Wine Collection
- Chef Figment Food & Wine Collection
- Princess Tiana Food & Wine Collection
Each of these collections offers a range of items including clothing, home decor, pins, toys and special collectibles. Some of the items can be found on shopDisney so even if you can't be there in person, you can still take advantage of special offers online!
EPCOT Food & Wine Festival: Where to Stay
If you are lucky enough to travel to the festival this year, we've got some recommendations on where to stay.
Since the festival takes place inside of the EPCOT park, we recommend staying at any of the resorts located along Crescent Lake. All of these resorts would give you walking access to the festival. These would include the following:
Considering that all three of these resorts are deluxe resorts they will come with a higher price tag, but here's a tip: consider renting DVC points from our partners at David's Vacation Club Rentals. All of these resorts have a Disney Vacation Club wing and provide more spacious accommodations. So, you could end up saving a lot of money by renting points and scoring a great location for your visit to the festival! If you're looking for more information on renting DVC points, check out our Mickey Visit guide on renting DVC points.
EPCOT Food & Wine Festival: Final Thoughts
The EPCOT Food & Wine Festival is truly an unforgettable experience for all ages. Foodies will love the endless options available and those looking to soak up the entertainment will enjoy the daily live concerts. We totally recommend a visit to the festival. You'll want to come back year after year to see what's new!
