It has been a transformative time for Downtown Disney recently as the shopping, dining, and entertainment center is undergoing a larger remaining to introduce new experiences.
Recently, the three Mexican restaurant concepts Paseo, Céntrico, and Tiendita have opened, Tortilla Jo's closed its doors to make way for a steakhouse restaurant and adjacent barbecue eatery, and Marceline's Confectionary temporarily closed for a reimagining.
Now, another Downtown Disney location has closed its doors to guests as the area continues to undergo some major changes. Keep reading for more details!
Downtown Disney Location Now Closed
In April, the footwear store California Sole announced on its Instagram that it would be closing in Downtown Disney. The caption began with, “It is with mixed emotions that we bid farewell to California Sole Anaheim at the Downtown Disney District. While we’ve had a great ride and will never forget our loyal customers, it’s time for us to pursue some of our lifelong passions and interests.”

The shoe store officially closed in early May, and Disney has not yet announced what will be replacing it.
Work on the Downtown Disney expansion continues as construction is progressing on Din Tai Fung (coming this summer) and the multi-eatery concept Parkside Market.
