Disneyland After Dark are after-hours events that take place at Disneyland featuring special entertainment, food, photo ops, merchandise, and more! These separately-ticketed Disneyland After Dark events are typically all centered around a specific theme, like Star Wars or Pride.
Disneyland After Dark events allow you to get a unique experience of the park after official park closing and often feature rare characters and special offerings that you can only find at the event. The 2024 Disneyland After Dark parties take place throughout the beginning of the year into spring and early summer.

2024 Disneyland After Dark Events
Disneyland After Dark events are not included with regular park admission and require a separate park ticket purchase. These events include unlimited digital downloads of Disney PhotoPass for all your event photos, commemorative keepsakes, plus three hours of access to the parks before the party officially begins.

Sweethearts' Nite 2024
January 23, 25, 30, Feb. 1, 6, 8, 12 & 14, 2024 at Disneyland Park
This returning theme is a celebration of love that takes place on eight different party nights. Here are the offerings Disneyland announced for the event:
- A royal cavalcade will make its way through Disneyland park, offering an enchanting gathering of some of Disney’s favorite royals, transported by equally splendid equines.
- Near “it’s a small world,” dance along with princesses, princes and Disney characters at the evening’s royal ball.
- Stitch and Angel will host their very own dance party at the stage in Tomorrowland. Join them throughout the night to dance and sing to some awesome beats!
- Throughout the park, unique photo backdrops will offer you an opportunity to step inside some of Disney’s iconic scenes of love and friendship, including “Lady and the Tramp,” “Tangled,” “Sleeping Beauty,” “Aladdin,” and more.
- Divine lighting, fabulous projections and the music of Disney love songs create the ultimate atmosphere for romance, friendship and family throughout the park.
- Enjoy many sweet treats to indulge in and themed savory items available throughout the park, created especially for Sweethearts’ Nite. New offerings will include the shortbread cookie churro with strawberry cheesecake dipping sauce and the Café Daisy fried heart-shaped ravioli, plus some returning and reimagined favorites like the Jolly Holiday Bakery Cafe Chocolate & Strawberry-stuffed croissant.
- Plus, specialty menu items will also be available at Plaza Inn, Cafe Orleans, River Belle Terrace and Carnation Café, subject to availability. Reservations are recommended and can be booked online soon. Keep your eyes on Disneyland.com/Dining.
For the 2024 event, a limited number of tickets went on pre-sale for Magic Key holders on December 12, 2023, and tickets went on sale to the general public on December 14, 2023.
Disney Channel Nite 2024
Mar. 5 & 7, 2024, at Disneyland Park
Disney Channel Nite is a new Disneyland After Dark event in 2024 with themed offerings from favorite Disney Channel shows on two party nites. Here are the offerings Disneyland announced for the event:
- The “High School Musical” pep rally will take place through the streets of Disneyland park celebrating the songs from the beloved “High School Musical” franchise.
- The “Phineas and Ferb” dance party at the stage in Tomorrowland will be a high-energy dance party, complete with a DJ and appearances by your favorite “Phineas and Ferb” characters!
- “Camp Rock” karaoke will allow you to sing favorite songs, and The Ultimate Disney Channel Trivia Challenge will test true Disney Channel fans, all in the cozy atmosphere of The Golden Horseshoe.
- “Descendants” at the Rivers of America will invite you to take a cruise on the Sailing Ship Columbia and enjoy music from the “Descendants” trilogy.
- Opportunities to step into imaginative photo backdrops representing favorite Disney Channel shows and movies, including “Lizzie McGuire,” “The Cheetah Girls,” “Teen Beach Movie” and more, will make you the star!
- Enjoy specially themed foods and snacks all evening long. A few items to expect are the mini banana burritos and tropical banana punch at Red Rose Taverne, plus chili cheese loaded nachos, and s’mores donut skewer from Café Daisy. Additionally, specialty dining packages will be available, too – more details coming to Disneyland.com, soon.

Star Wars Nite 2024
April 16, 18, 23, 25, 30, May 2, 7 & 9, 2024 at Disneyland Park
Star Wars Nite is the ultimate Star Wars extravaganza, packed with galactic fun on more nights than ever before in April and May. Highlights of Star Wars Nite include:
- Guests in Star Wars-themed costumes are invited to participate in a special cavalcade, where they will join Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse in a march down Main Street, U.S.A., culminating in a group photo in front of Sleeping Beauty Castle, illuminated with galactic projections.
- Bring your lightsaber and learn how to handle it with skill, concentration, and a clear mind with a quick stop at the Star Wars Nite Lightsaber Instructional at “it’s a small world” mall. Here, you will be introduced to all-new maneuvers specially crafted for this year’s recruits. All members of the Light Side and/or Dark Side are welcome.
- Dance along at the Galactic Dance Party with a Master DJ on Main Street, U.S.A.
- Bring your lightsabers and gather at the Millennium Falcon for a Resistance Show of Unity!
- Be prepared to encounter Captain Phasma and her elite unit of Stormtroopers in Tomorrowland.
- Immerse yourself in multiple Star Wars-themed photo opportunities, featuring some new places and faces from across the Star Wars universe!
For the 2024 Star Wars Nite, Inspire Key holders could purchase from a select amount of pre-sale tickets on February 20, 2024. All Magic Key holders were able to purchase from a select amount of pre-sale tickets on February 21 and 22, 2024. Tickets went on sale to the general public on February 23, 2024.
Pride Nite
June 18 & 20, 2024 at Disneyland Park
Pride Nite is a returning theme from last year's Disneyland After Dark lineup featuring entertainment, colorful characters, photo opps, and more. Pride Nite will have two party nights, and Disneyland shared the following highlights for the event:
- As the evening begins, direct your attention to the skies above The Happiest Place on Earth as you view an inspirational display of colors, pyrotechnics and music during the Disneyland After Dark: Pride Nite Fireworks – WELCOME!
- The Welcome Pride Cavalcade invites you to celebrate with favorite characters Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Goofy, Donald, Daisy, Pluto and Clarabelle in their multicolor outfits for an upbeat procession through Disneyland park.
- Whirl, twirl, sparkle and sway under the stars at the Pride Nite Dance Club along the Rivers of America.
- Everyone’s favorite extraterrestrial, Stitch, leads the Ohana Dance Party in Tomorrowland, where a DJ will be spinning tunes to celebrate “ohana” – family.
- If your feet favor a twist to a western beat, be sure to join the Country Line Dancing at The Golden Horseshoe.
- Immersive photo opportunities throughout Disneyland park allow you to step into the story with photo backdrops inspired by Disney characters and films.
- Enjoy savory snacks and sweets curated specially for the party, including these new items: Key Lime Pudding and Red Berry Sangria at River Belle Terrace, 5 Spice Popcorn Chicken at The Tropical Hideaway, Funnel Cake with Cereal Milk and Multi-Colored Marshmallow Cereal Topping at Stage Door Café and Firecracker Loaded Fries at Hungry Bear Restaurant, to name a few! Specialty menu items will also be available at Cafe Orleans and additionally, Plaza Inn will offer a dining package which includes reserved viewing for both the fireworks and cavalcade. Reservations are recommended and can be booked online soon on Disneyland.com.

Disneyland After Dark: Princess Nite
(March 7 and 9, 2023 at Disneyland Park)
- Princess Minnie Mouse and Princess Daisy Duck will provide royal welcome at Disneyland train station with fanfare trumpeters
- Concert from adventurous heroines including Moana, Merida and more accompanied by live vocalists
- Candy-themed dance party in Tomorrowland with Vanellope Von Schweetz
- Tiana dance party with live jazz in New Orleans Square
- Special food items available for purchase
- Photo backdrops inspired by Disney films like “Beauty and the Beast” and “The Princess Diaries”
- Unlimited Disney PhotoPass digital photo downloads from the party
- Pre-party mix-in admission to Disneyland park starting at 6 p.m., no theme park reservation required
Villains Nite
March 8 and 10, 2022, at Disney California Adventure Park
At Villains Nite, you’ll get to party with some of Disney’s most mischievous misfits at Disney California Adventure park. These wonderfully wicked events will take place on two separate evenings in March 2022, and include:
- The Cauldron, a cunningly-crafted cabaret featuring a cast of villainous virtuosos showing off their talents through song and dance
- Ursula’s Seaside Sing-a-long, where you can find your voice and sing along
- The Underworld Dance Party, which allows you to bust a move at a dastardly DJ dance party in the Hollywood Backlot
- Special photo backdrops, featuring scenes inspired by some favorite villains
- Some of Disney’s famously nefarious fiends – or their henchmen – at special locations around the park
- Delightfully decadent food and beverage offerings
- Early admission to Disney California Adventure park beginning at 5 p.m., no theme park reservation required
Grad Nite Reunion
This Disneyland After Dark event is a throwback to your own high school grad night with a reunion party celebrating the last 6 decades with nostalgic food, entertainment and music!
- Join a high-energy moving pep-rally on the parade route featuring Mickey’s glee club and Goofy’s dance team amped up with music by the All-American College Band
- In Cars Land, enjoy a Route 66 street party throwing back to the 60s, including “Hot-Rod” the DJ spinning classic tunes from the 60s, plus learn the Hully Gully and more with dance instructor “Cam”
- In Hollywood Land, enjoy a graduating class dance party as a DJ plays multiple present-day hit tracks, including top genres, like Hip Hop, Cumbia, Reggae, Punk, Funk and more
- In Pacific Wharf, sing all night long in our totally retro disco karaoke to the greatest disco hits of the 70s & 80s
Disneyland After Dark Pricing and Details
These events always sell out so be sure to grab your tickets ASAP on the Disneyland website. Parking fees are not included in the ticket price.
Tickets can be purchased online, at Disney Desk locations in participating Good Neighbor Hotels, or by calling (714) 781-4636 until the day before the event, or at any Disneyland Resort Ticket Booth. Limit eight (8) tickets per person, and no discounts apply. Tickets not required for Guests ages 2 and under. Tickets are non-transferable, non-refundable and may not be resold. Costumes are subject to Disney guidelines and should not be obstructive or offensive.
Ride and Food Options during Disneyland After Dark Events
Not all dining locations will be open in Disneyland and California Adventure during the events. You will be given a party specific park map to give you an idea of what is available during the event including attractions. We found that it made more sense to eat a big dinner before the party officially began so we could spend time enjoying the event rather than stopping to eat!
Nearly all attractions will be available, perhaps with the exception of Rise of the Resistance aside from Star Wars Nite, so you can enjoy rides with low wait times during the event.
