The park’s theme is the complete opposite of Blizzard Beach in that it follows a warm, water park versus Blizzard Beach’s cold theming. The story is an epic typhoon hurled surfboards into palm trees and tossed boats like toys, and now this storm-soaked island is a water-filled adventure for guests to enjoy.

Right now, Typhoon Lagoon is currently closed for refurbishment. This is typical for Disney to take one water park and refurbish it during the winter time. There is no timeline as of now for the park to reopen, but when it does, there are different types of tickets available to you. So, let’s dive into what options you have.

Disney Typhon Lagoon Tickets

When purchasing Disney Typhoon Lagoon tickets to the water park, there are a few different options to choose from.

For park tickets, there are multiple types to choose from:

1 Day Water Park Ticket

A 1-Day Water Park Ticket is a great choice when you want to spend a fun-filled day chilling out at a Disney water park.

You have 2 convenient 1-day ticket options, depending on when you wish to visit:

1-Day Water Park Ticket – $74 per adult or $68 per child (ages 3 to 9)
1-Day Water Park Tickets with Blockout Dates – $64 per adult or $58 per child (age 3 to 9)

The current block out dates are: May 25 to September 29, 2024 and May 24 to September 28, 2025.

Disney Water Park Season Pass

Visit a Disney water park again and again with the Disney Water Park Seasonal Pass–through May 24, 2024, with no blockout dates. The pass applies to both Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon, whichever is open.

Park Hopper Plus Ticket

Water and Sports Ticket

If you are interested in visiting a Walt Disney World Theme park, one of Disney’s theme parks, and one of the sports options in the neighborhood, you can choose the Water and Sports ticket.

With this ticket, you can visit one theme park each day of your ticket. Plus, you get a certain number of visits to other Walt Disney World fun based on the length of your ticket. For example, a 3-day ticket allows 3 visits, and a 4-day ticket allows 4 visits.
