As part of the second episode of the “We Call It Imagineering” series, Disney has revealed details on some of the new songs coming to Country Bear Musical Jamboree, the reimagined Country Bear Jamboree that will be opening this summer.
Recently, we got a first glimpse of the costumes for the show, which will pay homage to the Opry-style musicals of Nashville. Disney previously revealed that the bears would be singing reinterpreted Disney tunes in different genres of country music like bluegrass, pop-country, Americana, rockabilly, and more.
Now, we have some more news on some of the songs that will be featured in the attraction! Keep reading for more details.
Country Bear Jamboree New Songs Revealed
In the video, a couple of the Disney songs that will be featured in Country Bear Musical Jamboree were revealed, including “A Whole New World” from Aladdin and “Try Everything” from Zootopia.
These two songs are shared in addition to “The Bare Necessities” from The Jungle Book which has already been listed for the new show.
Emily Ann Roberts, the recording artist who is voicing Trixie in the show, talked about how Trixie will be opening the show with all of the things she's tried and failed.
Roberts shared, “When I got to hear the whole concept behind the Country Bear Musical Jamboree, it really helped me put myself in the shoes of Trixie, as she is kicking off the show and you've got all of these scenes of these different things that she has tried and failed, and she's keeping on trying.”
