It’s important to note that up until January 8, 2024, guests must make theme park reservations when purchasing their tickets online. Beginning January 9, 2024, guests will no longer need to make theme park reservations.

1-10 Day Base Ticket

2-10 Day Water and Sports Ticket

Like the Base Ticket, this ticket allows for one theme park visit per day. However, guests can also visit the other parts of Walt Disney World based on the length of their ticket. For example, a 2-day ticket allows 2 visits, a 3-day allows 3 visits, and so on.

1-10 Day Park Hopper Ticket

Guests can visit more than one theme park per day
Up until January 8, 2024, guests must make a theme park reservation for the first park they plan to visit. Beginning January 9, 2024, guests will no longer need to make theme park reservations
After entering the first park, guests can “hop” to the next park of their choice starting at 2:00pm and until each park’s regularly scheduled closure. Ability to visit a specific park is subject to that park’s capacity

2-10 Day Park Hopper Plus Ticket

Like the previous ticket, guests can visit multiple theme parks per each day of your ticket
Up until January 8, 2024, guests must make a theme park reservation for the first park they plan to visit. Beginning January 9, 2024, guests will no longer need to make theme park reservations

Date-Based EPCOT Ticket Pricing: How it Works

More recently, Walt Disney World shifted to date-based pricing in which theme park ticket prices vary based on the day of the year. Factors that impact ticket price include the day of the week, time of the year, and the number of days you need tickets for. So for example, not only will your EPCOT ticket price vary if you choose a Monday versus a Saturday. Your ticket price will also vary if you choose a 1-day ticket versus a 5-day ticket. Let’s look at these day-specific ticket options.

1 Day Tickets

This ticket option offers park-specific pricing for 1-day theme park tickets. Prices vary depending on the day you choose and which theme park you plan to visit. In general, Magic Kingdom is the highest price, Disney’s Animal Kingdom is the usually the lowest, and Disney’s Hollywood Studios and EPCOT fall somewhere in-between. When purchasing a 1 Day Ticket, you must choose the date you plan to visit the specific theme park of your choice. The ticket is only valid on that day.

2-10 Day Tickets

When purchasing a multi-day ticket, guests must pick the start date for their ticket. The Walt Disney World website will show you the price-per-day you will pay for your trip based on your start date. This means that you may get a lower price on your tickets by choosing a ticket window on a day that’s different from your original planned start date. Don’t discount this strategy as this is a great way to save money on EPCOT tickets! Finally, your theme park tickets don’t have to be used on consecutive days. As long as they are used within the window booked, your tickets are valid for use.

Multi-day theme park ticket windows are the following:

1-Day: the date you select
2-Day: any 2 days within 4 days after the start date
3-Day: any 3 days within 5 days after the start date
4-Day: any 4 days within 7 days after the start date
5-Day: any 5 days within 8 days after the start date
6-Day: any 6 days within 9 days after the start date
7-Day: any 7 days within 10 days after the start date
8-Day: any 8 days within 12 days after the start date
9-Day: any 9 days within 13 days after the start date
10-Day: any 10 days within 14 days after the start date

Keep in mind that room and ticket packages have a different park ticket window and thus pricing may vary.

Looking at the 1 Day Base Ticket prices, the cheapest time to go to EPCOT is any weekday during the end of August through September with prices as low as $119. The most expensive days to visit EPCOT are in February, March, May, November, and December with prices as high as $179. In general, expect to see a higher trend in EPCOT ticket prices from the end of February through July and October through December. Expect to see a lower trend in EPCOT ticket prices in January, the first part of February, August, and September.

For Water Parks & Sports prices, add $70 to the base ticket price of your choice. For Park Hopper Plus prices, add $20 to the ticket price of your choice.
