Disney's Ticket Prices

Before we look at ways to get discounted tickets, we're going to look at how much tickets to Animal Kingdom cost when you go directly through Disney. Tickets to Animal Kingdom are sold in two different ways: Single Day Tickets and Multi-Day Tickets. There are multiple different options to choose from for both ticket types. Prices for tickets vary depending on the date. Single Day Ticket prices also vary depending on which park you'll be attending that day. I'm going to explain all of the different options and provide prices for them as well.

Single Day Tickets

According to the Walt Disney World ticket calendar, the 2024 moths that have the cheapest ticket options are August and September. As I mentioned earlier, Single Day Ticket prices also vary based off of which park you're attending that day. Animal Kingdom is the lowest priced ticket, followed by EPCOT, Hollywood Studios, and then Magic Kingdom as the highest priced ticket.

There are three different type of Single Day Tickets: 1 Park Per Day, Park Hopper, and Park Hopper Plus.

1 Park Per Day – With a 1 Park Per Day Ticket, you will be able to visit Animal Kingdom only in a single day.
- $109 to $164 per ticket (depending on the date)
Park Hopper – With a Park Hopper Ticket, you will be able to visit Animal Kingdom as well as any other Disney World theme park in a single day.
- $188 to $254 per ticket (depending on the date)
Park Hopper Plus – With a Park Hopper Plus Ticket, you will be able to visit Animal Kingdom, any other Disney World theme park, and one other Disney World location in a single day.
- $208 to $274 per ticket (depending on the date)
  - You may pick which other Disney World location you want to visit from the following list:
    - Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park (currently closed for refurbishment)
    - Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park
    - ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex
    - Disney's Oak Trail Golf Course

    - Disney's Fantasia Gardens Miniature Golf Course (one round; prior to 4pm)

Multi-Day Tickets

Just like Single Day Tickets, the prices for Multi-Day tickets vary depending on the date. For Multi-Day Tickets, the Walt Disney World ticket calendar says again that the cheapest priced tickets can be found during the months of August and September in 2024.

There are four different types of Multi-Day Tickets: 1 Park Per Day, Water Park and Sports, Park Hopper, and Park Hopper Plus.

1 Park Per Day – With a 1 Park Per Day Ticket, you will be able to visit Animal Kingdom only in a single day.
- $229.54-$340.46 for a 2-Day Ticket to $609.72-$835.11 for a 10-Day Ticket (depending on the date)

- $299.54-$410.46 for a 2-Day Ticket to $679.72-$905.11 for a 10-Day Ticket (depending on the date)

These specially prices tickets are called Disney Military Salute Tickets. They are available in 4-Day, 5-Day, and 6-Day bundles with Park Hopper or Park Hopper Plus.

In order to purchase Disney Military Salute Tickets, you must reach out to your U.S. Military Base Ticket Office. Prices at the ticket office may be less than the prices set forth by Disney.

Shades of Green

Another option that U.S. Military members have for purchasing discounted Animal Kingdom tickets is Shades of Green. A wider variety of Walt Disney World ticket offers can be found on their website. They conveniently have a price list available as well. In order to place your ticket order through Shades of Green, you'll need to download their PDF Order Form. After your order form is complete, you will then submit it to their webform.

AAA Animal Kingdom Tickets

AAA offers Walt Disney World tickets that are exclusively priced for their members. Tickets are available as Single Day Tickets or Multi-Day Tickets (up to 10 days). Their ticket prices also vary depending on the date.
