Hollywood Studios is one of the most popular theme parks in Walt Disney World but it does have more limited breakfast options so finding a good meal can be tricky. Let's look at the best Holywood Studios breakfast options to see where you can find the best meal to fuel your morning.
In this article:
Joffrey’s Coffee
Some people only want coffee or tea first thing in the morning. If you don’t want to go to a quick service location and have to wait for people to get their coffee and food, look no further than the Joffrey’s Coffee Kiosks. Joffrey’s is the coffee brand that is located both in the resorts and in the parks. Disney has worked hard to partner with Joffrey’s to create a unique experience for guests.
There are three different locations throughout Hollywood Studios.
- Joffrey’s Coffee Kiosk adjacent to Premier Theater near Muppet Vision 3D
- Joffrey’s Coffee Kiosk at the entrance of Pixar Place near Toy Story Midway Mania! Attraction
- Joffrey’s Coffee Kiosk outside of The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror™ Attraction
At the kiosks, you will find fresh-brewed coffee, specialty espresso beverages (hot or iced) specialty drinks, seasonal beverages, tea, hot chocolate, water, and typically a pastry or donut is available as well all for under $14.99 per adult.
Joffrey’s is a great alternative to the Starbucks locations and has all of the normal coffee choices that you would expect plus some special brews specific to Walt Disney World.
A quick tip: if you find a coffee brew that you love in the parks or resorts, you can order online and have it brewed right at your house.

Best Breakfast Hollywood Studios Quick Service
Many of the quick service locations for breakfast are a little unconventional when you think of breakfast items, but again, there are quite a few gems that will provide you with something to eat before starting your day.
The Trolley Car Café
Located on Hollywood Boulevard (as you are walking towards the Chinese Theatre), The Trolley Car Cafe is going to be your Starbucks Coffee location. Opening at 8 AM, you can jump-start your day with a caffeine kick and a few sweet bakery treats.
On the coffee menu, you will find frappuccinos, specialty coffee beverages (lattes and mochas), and cold brews. You will also find other beverages including refreshers, tea (hot and cold), lemonade, and other seasonal drinks.
The Trolley Cart Cafe also offers savory breakfast sandwiches and pastries to give you a little more sustenance for your day.
All of these treats can be found for under $10 before customization.
The lines do typically get long at this location, no matter what time of the day, so our tip is to make sure you ride your number one ride choice when ride lines are shorter and then come to grab your coffee. Another quick tip is to send someone in your traveling party that doesn’t do big rides to get coffee for your entire party while you get in line for Hollywood Tower of Terror or Rockin Roller Coaster.
No matter how you start your day, Starbucks is going to be a solid option for caffeine and food.
Hollywood Scoops
Don’t let the name fool you. Hollywood Scoops is the place to get ice cream treats at Hollywood Studios. However, at 8 AM, their breakfast menu includes just one special treat.
Located on Sunset Boulevard, visit Hollywood Scoops to order the Waffle Platter, Mickey-shaped Waffles served with Fresh Blueberries, Whipped Cream, and Syrup. While ordering your waffle, don’t forget to order your Joffrey’s brewed coffee. However, if you are kid-free, or need an even more special treat in the morning, Hollywood Scoops does serve a Mimosa.
All of these special breakfast treats can be purchased for under $14.99 , making it easy on your wallet since the dining plan is not accepted here.
While we love that Hollywood Scoops has this special breakfast option, if you are traveling with people who like to have options, this may not be the place to stop.
Anaheim Produce
Also located on Sunset Boulevard, and opening right when Hollywood Studios opens, you will find an assortment of snacks and treats at Anaheim Produce.
Snacks that can be found at this cart include: Churro served with Chocolate Sauce, Mickey-shaped Pretzel (Served with Cheese Sauce), Whole Fruit (Plant-based), Assorted Chips, Cuties® Mandarin 3-pack. While not typical breakfast foods, having fresh options like fruit first thing in the morning is a great option. Also, I have been known to eat a Mickey Pretzel for breakfast a time or two while in Walt Disney World.
Anaheim Produce also serves assorted bottled beverages that can offer some quick caffeine, especially if you are not a coffee person. Other beverage options include water, POWERADE, Frozen Minute Maid® Lemonade, and Frozen Blue Raspberry Lemonade.
The dining plan is not accepted at this location, but you won’t find items above $10 for your breakfast options.
Our recommendation is to stop at Hollywood Scoops and get the special Mickey Waffle and then pop over to Anaheim Produce for some fresher options for the healthier people in your party (or if you want to make sure your kid has his/her daily serving of fruit).
Ronto Roasters
If you are looking for a more traditional breakfast option with a twist, Ronto Roasters in Star Wars: Galaxy Edge is the place to go.
Ronto Roasters has three breakfast specialties, but you can order their entire menu all day. Breakfast specialties include:
- Ronto Morning Wrap, complete with Eggs, Grilled Pork Sausage, Shredded Cheddar, and Peppercorn Sauce in Pita Bread.
- Rising Moons Overnight Oats: Oats, Dragon Fruit, Yogurt, Seasonal Fruit.
- Cold Brew Black Caf, Joffrey's Coffee™ Cold Brew topped with Sweet Cream Cheese and Chocolate Puffs.
There are many allergy friendly options at this location as well. Just to sample a few things, on the Plant-Based menu you will find the
- Triple Suns Breakfast Wrap: Plant-based Egg, Smoky Chickpea-Onion Slaw, and Roasted Tomato Sauce wrapped in Pita Bread
- Andoan Fruit with Muja Sauce: Sticks of Jicama, Cucumber, Pineapple, Melon and Dragon Fruit doused in a Tamarind Sauce and dusted with Peppercorn Ash
They also have egg, fish/shellfish, milk/ dairy, peanut/tree nut, and sesame allergy-friendly versions of their breakfast items.
All of the breakfast items can be purchased as soon as the park is open. Dining plans are accepted here, but if you are paying out of pocket, each of these options is under $14.99.
Walt Disney World has employed food specialists to help make your visit to Batuu an incredible experience, and the breakfast dining options are worth trying at least once, especially if you are an adventurous eater looking for something new to experience.
Our recommendation is to get in line for Rise of the Resistance or Smuggler’s Run (depending on your Genie+ and Lightening Lane Selections for the day) and then walk over to Ronto Roasters to grab a quick bite before exploring what the rest of Galaxy’s Edge has to offer. It also has not been unheard of to see Chewbacca and Rey wandering around this area, so you may get a special character interaction as well.
Kat Saka’s Kettle
Another option in Galaxy’s Edge is Kat Saka’s Kettle. A little cart that opens at 8:30 AM offers a special snack specific to Galaxy’s Edge, but that may interest someone in your family.
The special snack at the kettle is popcorn. Right now there are two offerings: the Buttered Blue Grains (Disney Popcorn colored a bluish-green color) and Outpost Popcorn Mix (a colorful blend of Sweet and Spicy flavors).
You can also get the special Galaxy Edge Coffee – Cold Brew Black Caf, Joffrey's Coffee™ Cold Brew topped with Sweet Cream Cheese and Chocolate Puffs (or the spiked version) at this cart in addition to other traditional beverage options.
This cart does not accept dining plans, but each of these offerings can be purchased for under $14.99.
The Kat Saka’s Kettle is a great option if you want to experience specialty Batuu food without having to go too far out of your comfort zone, or if you aren’t a big traditional breakfast person and are looking for a quick snack instead.
Woody's Lunch Box
Another place that has a dedicated breakfast menu is Woody’s Lunch Box located in Toy Story Land. If you are trying to feed your kids a good breakfast in the morning, Woody’s Lunch Box would be the place I would head.
On their breakfast menu is a Breakfast Bowl for adults that includes a hearty portion of Potato Barrels smothered in Smoked Brisket Country Gravy, Scrambled Eggs, and a sprinkling of Green Onions. There is also a kid’s version of the same bowl served with a Cuties Mandarin and Potato Barrels with your choice of Beverage.
If you want something a little sweeter, Woody’s Lunch Box offers tarts, think a filled pastry with toppings. The daily Lunch Box Tart currently is the Raspberry Lunch Box Tart, Raspberry Marmalade stuffed pastry coated in a strawberry fondant and crispy pearls.
According to Disney’s website, you can order the full menu all day. The full menu features BBQ Brisket Melt, Smoked Turkey Sandwich, Grilled Three-Cheese Sandwich, “Totchos” (Potato Barrels with toppings), and sides.
Our recommendation is to get in line for Slinky Dog Dash and then walk across the way to Woody’s Lunch box for a delicious breakfast. Woody’s Lunch Box has great options for everyone in the family, no matter the time of day, but it typically is less crowded first thing in the morning when everyone is trying to get in line for rides. Speaking of rides, Woody’s Lunch Box is not only close to Slinky Dog Dash, but while in the area, your traveling party can ride Toy Story Mania and Alien Swirling Saucers. For characters, Buzz, Woody, Bo Peep, and Jessie are typically stationed around as well.
If your family is a fan of Toy Story, let yourself be transported to Andy’s Backyard and experience all that Toy Story Land has to offer. This is a favorite for best Hollywood Studios breakfast.
Market and Neighborhood Bakery
Both locations are located in Pixar Place, open at 8:30 AM, and have some special snacks. While their menus do vary slightly, they both feature Jack Jack’s Nom Nom Cookie (Warm, Crunchy but Gooey Chocolate-Chip Cookie Tart).
At the Market, you can also purchase Assorted Chips, Nacho Chips with Cheese, a Banana, and other specialty drinks.
At the Neighborhood Bakery, other snack options include popcorn and specialty drinks.
Both locations are good options for a quick morning snack, but may not be the best for a full breakfast. These small snacks are all under $14.99, but are not on the dining plan.
Best Hollywood Studios Breakfast Table Service
Hollywood Studios has just one opportunity for a sit-down breakfast. However, it is one of the only places where you can dine with Disney Junior Characters.
Hollywood and Vine Breakfast
A character breakfast located at Echo Lake is a great option for breakfast if you have small kids. For $42 per adult and $27 per child (Ages 3-9), plus tax and gratuity, you get a full breakfast menu and the characters Doc McStuffins, Fancy Nancy, Vampirina, and Goofy.
The meal buffet has returned where each person can choose what they want to eat. According to the Disney website a partial listing of food options for the buffet includes:
- Assorted Pastries
- Waffles
- Bananas Fosters French Toast
- Breakfast Potatoes
- Bacon and Sausage
- Seasonal Bread Pudding
- Plant-based Frittata with Tomato Jam (plant-based)
- Eggs Benedict
- Oatmeal
- Salmon and Bagel Casserole
- Omelets
- Sticky Buns
- Chicken and Waffles
- Yogurt Parfait
Overall, for the price, you get a lot of options for adults and kids alike and fun Disney Junior characters. This is a great option if your party is looking for a sit-down restaurant.
Unfortunately, this best Hollywood Studios breakfast option is a buffet, so trying to get food and make sure that you see the characters can be a little stressful. Fortunately, the characters make their way around the restaurant multiple times, so you shouldn’t have a problem meeting every character, some even multiple times.
This is a dining option that can’t be missed if you are traveling with little ones. The breakfast options alone are vast enough that everyone can find something on the menu to fill their bellies. There is also a rumor that if your child is too excited to eat, the characters do a great job of encouraging them to scarf down some breakfast before a full day in the park.
Best Hollywood Studios Breakfast
Disney’s best Hollywood Studios breakfast food options are wide in variety. Your party can get everything from sweet to savory. There are options for adults and kids alike. A more traditional breakfast can be found at Woody’s Lunch Box or at the Trolley Cart Cafe. Both typically have long wait times, so be prepared to not make these quick service options a quick in and out.
If you want something different for your best Hollywood Studios breakfast, maybe a little out of your comfort zone, Ronto Roasters is a great place to try for breakfast. My family really likes to go to the Market and get Jack Jack’s Num Num Cookie, where they have also been known to have a really good blueberry muffin, so keep your eye out.
While Hollywood Studios does not have many table service options, this park is not one where you will want to sit down for a long meal. There are tons of big rides and shows to watch, so you want to make full use of your time in this park. However, if you have young kids that can’t do a ton of rides, you won’t waste your park ticket if you are able to snag a reservation for breakfast with the Disney Junior characters.
In Hollywood Studios, you have to be willing to think a little outside of the box when it comes to breakfast, but there are a few hidden gems that tend to get looked over during breakfast at the park.
